    I have the exact same problem, i had sound at release of the X then about a week later it was gone and i have tried every tip and trick i have found online to get it back and nothing. If i plug in my original xbox one the apps work fine just not on the

    I can't even start it. It just freezes whenever I try to start it up on the 360.

    This is why they shouldn't change what works perfectly. They just end up breaking things.

    The last version makes this look like the first day youtube launched on the internet. I dont even know how to fine filter for videos anymore.

    I, too, am having this problem.

    I saw on the Xbox status site that YouTube is limited. It said something about this happening "when using the Cast functionality on other devices." I am not using any Cast functionality, however.

    Have you already tried the steps listed here https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/apps/youtube-help ?

    If not, I would try that and let us know. All appears to be normal with Xbox at https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status
