    App Installation Stopped - Amazon, Pandora, YouTube


    I had previously had YouTube, Amazon Video, and Pandora installed on my Xbox One. Somehow they disappeared. When I try to redownload and install them, the installation starts and I then get an "Installation Stopped" message. It
    is only on these apps. I can download and install most games just fine. I did notice that my son's Slimer Rancher game stops the installation as well after a recent update. I have tried installing on both the internal hard drive and the external one, both
    with the same result. It is getting very frustrating. Is this an app issue or is there an underlying issue with my Xbox? I have tried hard rooting the Xbox as well as rebooting both my router and modem. Nothing seems to correct the issue. Please help!

    Yes, that didn't help. And, I've read on other postings in this forum that this same advice was given to others and it didn't work either. I can listen to music on my home network through the Pandora app on my phone as well as the Amazon music app on
    my phone. Both stream the music fine. It's clear to me that the problem is not Pandora or Amazon. The problem has something to do with the Xbox One. This is pretty disappointing and discouraging.

    I've spent hours trying to solve this to no avail. I've streamed Pandora for years with no problem. Then today I noticed Pandora began to stream but no sound. I can see the app is playing the music, but
    you hear nothing. When you pause and restart, there is a split second of music, then it stops very quickly. I downloaded the Amazon Music App and it does the same. Youtube works fine and all other sounds are functioning fine, just music streaming on these
    two apps. I've hard rebooted and still no sound. I've read that others are experiencing this issue but so far no answers have been posted. Can someone direct me on how to fix this? Thanks!
    Hi, have you tried uninstalling and redownloading the app? I also suggest you see if there are problems in the app maybe with the last update will have had some problem bug.

    When is snap coming back to xbox

    I miss being able to snap youtube and listen to it in the background. Not all videos on youtube are 100% visual for example comedy videos are mostly audio related. Anyways maybe a new update to the youtube app could allow it to play audio in the background
    like spotify, iheartradio and pandora.
