App Download problems

Hi! Hope I'm in the right place for this. I'm having a rather annoying issue with downloading content on my new Xbox One. Though all other online applications and downloads seem to be functioning, downloading my Blu-Ray player seems to be impossible. Regardless
of how many times I try to manually click install, the app always almost immediately falls back to queued, even though I don't have anything else downloading. This is of course preventing me from getting to watch my large blu-ray movie collection on my console,
which is something I was really looking forward to. Hope someone can lend me a hand! For clarification:

• I've completely removed the content from my xbox one on several occasions.
• I've reset my xbox one. By that, I mean unplugged it entirely
• I've tried both wireless and wired connections. When testing connections from settings, no issue has come up.
  
• Watching videos, netflix, etc all seem to work. I successfully updated my console and my games. The only thing not working that I've tried thus far is this app.

Can't get smartglass to connect

I had the same problem Krakken. Figured it out. I had to download the Xbox One smartglass app...Not the regular smartglass app.

 

hbo app can`t download/can`t find

I have an xbox360 and have problems with my hbo app. It has been deleted and the app is in the list, but there`s no download button so i can`t download it for a second time. Has it been removed from xbox or is there any other problems?

 

Please try if a system cache reset solves the problem.

On your running console hold the powerbutton for about 15 seconds. Keep it holding even when the one turns off after some seconds. Wait for the power supply to change the color to orange and then restart the console.

You may also go to settings / blu ray and erase the permanent storage there.

 

Unfortunately, that didn't help. Also, on my Games and Apps list, under Queues, the icon for the blu-ray player download is blacked out and has no description or indication that it is the blu-ray player download.

 

On the tile in the Queue, press the Menu button ("Start" on Xbox 360) and if you can press delete, press that. If you cannot, select Manage App and then delete it from the next screen.

Then go to the App Store and download it from there.

Let us know if that works or how you get on.

 

It only gives me the options to Install Now (which doesn't work, as it immediately returns to queued), or Cancel. Canceling does remove it from the queue, but when I try installing again from the app store, the same issue persists.

Though it hasn't been fixed yet, thanks to everyone who's contributed so far! I appreciate the help.

 

Try cancelling the download - it doesn't matter if it leaves the Queue - and then power cycle (support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console) the console. Try the download
again.

Did you try the earlier suggestion of clearing the BluRay persistent storage? If not, try that now, before trying the download again. It can be found in Settings>Disc&BluRay>Persistent Storage
