    App doesn't work when I change language to english


    Hey!

    I'm using my xbox one alot for streaming football, and I use the app that the company that have the broadcasting rights here in Norway have released for xbox one.

    My problem is that when I have my language and location set to Norwegian and Norway, everything works fine. But, I don't want my language to be set to Norwegian, due to hating it on games and menues.

    Anyway, when I change my language to English, and my location still set to Norway, the app change language to Swedish, and whenever I try to watch a football match, I get an error message saying they don't have the streaming rights in my country.

    If I change my language back to Norwegian, everything works fine again. Anyone know why this happens? and how/if it can be fixed?

    Forza Horizon 4 language change

    Hi,

    I bought Forza Horizon 4 yesterday and I need to change the language to English because I can't stand the German voices.

    Can somebody help me?

    I already changed the windows language to english and that doesn't work.

    Black Ops 3 Beta - 4 EVERYBODY - See how...

    Go to settings -> System -> Change language to Japanese(the very bottom selection), go to game store, find the BLOPS3 beta, start download.

    Go back to system settings and change language back to English, and location to US.

    Got Games and Apps, cancel BLOPS3 beta download.

    Go all the way to the right on your Games and Apps game section(ready to install section) and start the BLOPS3 download again from the "ready to install" section.

    Done.

    FYI - The reason you have to cancel the install, and restart(after changing language back to English/US) is so you get the English version of the demo, otherwise it will all be in Japanese.

    Ok thank you, that actually solved my problem! :)

    The game apparently defaults to French when the language is set to English (and only French and German are available languages for the game).

    My region was set to Germany for some time but my console was always set to English. And the game always defaulted to French. So the game doesn't care about my region settings and only checks the language settings. When changing the console/system language to German the game is also German (English is not an option and when set as the system language changes the games language to French).

    Hi, thanks for the quick answer.

    Changing the preferred language to "English (United States)" helped. So the Xbox app is now in English but it works.

    Achievements in different language

    Having the same problem here myself.

    Titanfall achievments are showing up in German. Think it was just after the Titanfall update. The pop up box (when achievements unlock) still shows the achievement in English though.

    Language and region is English/UK. My account is UK. No idea what is going on. All other games are showing up in English.

    I did change the language as a test and when you select any other language, the achievements including Titanfall will change accordingly. It only doesn't work for English were Titanfall reverts to German!!! Crazy stuff!!!

    Hope the new July update will fix this but if not then this will be annoying!!!

    Glad I'm not on my own with this though! ;-)
