    App does not play videos on Xbox One once paired.

    Have tried it a few times. The pairing seems to work on laptop and it shows connected to Xbox One and tells you the video is playing on Xbox One but it's still sitting with the pairing code screen.

    If I use back button it returns me to home of YouTube App.

    Anyone any experience of this and can tell me what's wrong if this is a known issue please

    "Another screen is already called Xbox One" + how to keep phone paired?

    I've paired my Nexus 5 via the YouTube app, but it lists my Xbox One as "Xbox One 4". If I go into settings and edit the name to just "Xbox One", it says "Another screen is already called Xbox One", even though it's not as I only have one phone paired to
    one console. I've tried deleting the pairing, so no "TVs" are connected, then re-pairing, but I get the same issue.

    The second issue I'm having is that when I reboot my phone, the YouTube app loses the pairing and says "No TVs paired with this mobile device", even though in the YouTube app settings on the Xbox One it says that one device is paired, which it lists is "LGE
    Nexus 5 ()" which is correct.

    Anyone else having these issues? Being able to use the phone to send videos to the TV via the Xbox One is great, but not if I have to re-pair my device every time I shut it down and start it up again.

    Does xbox one have a system video player like what the 360 had?

    1. Hi does xbox one have a system video player app so I can play videos and music from my PC like what the 360 had?

    Pairing YouTube does not play videos on XBox One

    Hi

    I have this working when I pair from my iPhone.

    Youtube has to be selected on XboxOne then go to Youtube on my phone select a video and a little TV symbol appears as it starts to play, When I press that an option appears to choose where to play the video I select Xboxone then after buffering it appears
    on the TV through the Xboxone.

    Can I use smartglass as a keyboard?

    If you go to the youtube app on the Xbox One and go to the search you have the option to pair your phone to the youtube app. It'll give a code and you enter it at youtube.com/pair. Then you browse youtube with your phone and when you play a video it'll
    play through your Xbox One. It's way easier than just using the phone for a keyboard.

    Netflix doesn't have it I assume because of the dynamic searching it does where you type a letter and it brings up those titles and narrows it down and the app doesn't really call up the keyboard. It would be useful though.

    since the last update on xbox one my video apps do not play video files when offline and require signing in to xbox live.

    does anyone know why?
    It's all back to normal now and the video apps work offline, I tried all sorts but it kinda fixed itself i think!

    I have a problem with playing videos from my paired Win8 computer. It just loads forever, never plays. The video works fine on my laptop, fine if I search for it in the YouTube app, but if I try playing it from my computer after pairing the video fails
    to load, just black with the rotating loading icon. Anyone else?
