App Consistently Crashes Upon Joining Party Chat

The app crashes with no error message the instant I click to join someone's party chat through their profile.

There are no problems however when I join a party chat via accepting an invite to it.

I'm using version 11.11.11004.00000.

Party Crashing

Whenever i start the party app my xbox just freezes and then the app crashes, its the same with joining friends parties too, im not the only one experiencing this problem either recently, ive turn my internet and xbox one off and on again, still continues
to freeze and crash, it was working fine earlier today. i was in a party with a friend, then a stranger joined my party and thats when my party app stopped working.

Which headset do you use?

-The one provided with the console.

Have you tried switching between the party and game chat with the party app?

Yes. Unresponsive upon selecting the option.

Is this also happening when using Kinect for chat?

Yes.

After 10+Hrs... I found the issue!

1.) Right Click on your Desktop

2.) Display Settings

3.) At 'Change the size of text,apps, and other items:' slider change it to 100%

Note: If it's already set to 100% or doesn't work at 100%, try all other options it gives you on the slider.

My this works: This was a DPI issue. Some applications have issues with the scaling and how it is displaying the content. I guess it didn't like the 125% scale that my monitor was displaying (1440p resolution / AMD R9 290 Graphics Card).

 

Hey, I was having the same problem when attempting to join a party, but accepting an invite from the part seems to work. Just ask one of the people in the party for a quick fix.
