App cannot finish installing, nor can it uninstall

Hi,

Trying to download the NBC Sports Live Extra app. Download stalled for apparently hours at 74%. I can't get it to resume, nor can I uninstall the app. I have attempted the hard restart/power cycle, but it doesn't matter. I still can't uninstall it, nor does
attempting to install/finish the install work. Ready to throw the *** thing through a window. Advice, anyone, please?

Is the only option a system wipe?

Try installing it again but let it finish and then uninstall and it will disappear.

Netflix Voice Support - How to Use

Can you tell me how I can completely uninstall and re-install the Netflix app? It seems that when I uninstall it simply removes it from my App selection, but does not remove the installation file. If I try to re-download I am sure it is simply re-installing
the original file, and not downloading a new one?

Is there a way to manually check for app updates?

Sorry to hear about the issue. If you haven't yet, take a peek at the
troubleshooting guide related to downloads that are slow or don't finish downloading. If you try all the steps provided and none of them work, the next thing I would recommend doing is

factory restoring your Xbox One console using the option that allows you to keep your games and apps.

Give those a try and let us know if it works!

I agree, it's very odd.

I cannot find the game on any drive, or in the control panel.

But likewise I cannot reinstall it via the Xbox app. Nor uninstall it with any tool or process I know of.

So yeah, weird.

It's probably a false positive. But if you are worried, try uninstalling the app, launch a virus scan, wait until it's finished, then re-install the app from the Microsoft Store.

Hi there,

The Xbox app is a mandatory install on Windows 10 and so cannot be removed. Some free to play games are sometimes installed, you can uninstall them by going to your start menu and right clicking on your mouse > select uninstall.

Done all that got to installing gaming services but didn't give me an option to install so I'm guessing it didn't uninstall? I reinstalled Xbox app and still cannot install the games i want but can still install ark
