Apex store unavailable

We have downloaded and reinstalled Apex twice on my son’s Xbox One. The game plays just fine, but for some reason the store tab where you buy Apex coins just says Unavailable. Apex support says everything is working fine on their end under his gamer account. How can we resolve this?

How odd, have you tried to purchase it from the xbox store?

We tried resetting the cache and also resetting the Xbox. We signed back in and it’s still displaying unavailable for purchasing Apex coins.
