apex legends lag on the Xbox one

Is this latency happening with any other games on your Xbox? I found a forum thread with EA about this issue here: Apex Legends lag/stutter issue on Xbox one - Answer HQ. If it is not occurring with any other online game, it may be an issue specific to Apex Legends. It seems some have found a solution there. Please let me know if this is a persistent issue across all your games on your console or if it is just with Apex Legends.

No I was playing apex legends when my xbox started to bug like I was lagging and I played another game and after that I couldn't play any others

There are some great solutions above, I have experienced lag on a few occasions in Apex Legends on my Xbox One S and it can be frustrating. I have listed a couple of suggestions you could try below:

* After resetting your router, if your son is still experiencing lag, search for and run a broadband speed checker through the Microsoft Edge application on the Xbox to see what kind of speeds your son is achieving.

* Have you spoken to your Internet Service Provider to see if your internet connection has been slowed down due to exceeding data cap limits? A slow connection could be the cause of the lag.

Hope these help your son play lag free and achieve the much coveted win in Apex Legends.

Have you tried uninstalling the game, and then re-installing it? Sometimes that can help with games having issues.

A console power cycle can sometimes help as well.
