Apalling Treatment Xbox Support

Hello,

I have been having some trouble with a game I recently purchased. I have spent this evening trying to resolve the issue with Xbox Live Chat Support.

The first person I spoke to was polite and friendly, however he could not resolve the issue, so he attempted to transfer me to a manager.

Instead I was accidentally transferred to another support assistant, not a manager. I had already spent over an hour on chat, so I wished to speak to a manager quickly.

I repeatedly asked the second person I was speaking to to transfer me to a manager, as had already been attempted. He ignored my questions over the course of the next 30 minutes. Eventually, after 5 times of asking he transferred me to a manager.

I had now been in the chat for over 2 hours.

The manager asked if I could allow him a few minutes to review my chat, of course I obliged. 10 minutes later he responded to confirm the game I was enquiring about. He then informed me that the game had not yet been released, it was released on the 12th
June.

The chat progressed with him reviewing whether I was telling the truth as to whether the game had been released.

After 15 minutes, I received no response, even after he had been prompted with several questions. I then asked him for his full details, to which, he started typing a message, then quickly stopped, and ended that chat.

I had been in the chat for over 3 hours.

Over 3 hours of my time was wasted.

The 2nd person I spoke to behaved unprofessionally refusing to answer questions.

The 3rd person seemingly didn't believe I was telling the truth. After I asked for his details, he then proceeded to end the chat with no warning.

What kind of treatment is this for one of the largest corporations in the world, who pride themselves in customer service?

I am very tempted to switch to the PS4 after today's treatment.

I know right, black ops 2 multiplayer is apalling... zombies can be fun and campaign is ok, BF3 has spoiled me lol

you do know that xbox support isnt game support right?

you have to contact the publisher

and yes even sony will tell you that

what game are you talking about?

call of duty blackops 3 beta that came with your preorder?

 

if it is a preorder bonus like a prrelease beta then you have to contact the publisher

betas are TIMED rereleases not immediate release and ms would have no info on that

blacks ops beta isnt due out till later this year this is covered on your box

 

ingame issues can only be handled by the developer not xbox support btw

 

the only game issue thaat xbox support can handle is downloadable content that has been released

if you have gamepllay issues or missing stuff you have to contact the publisher

usually within the games sections and under the appropiate title

Could you describe the issue you were/are facing?

I'll also drop you an Xbox Live message to get this sorted for you.

 

it depends on his issue if its a ingame issue or a missing item from the box he should contact the publisher

support doesnt handle game issues they are for account hardware and live only not games

 

Just to keep this thread up to date - the OP dropped me a PM, explaining the issue and has been given the assistance needed.
