Discus and support AOE Installation in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I am trying to install AOE II DE and I keep getting the code 0x00000001.     I am trying to install AOE II DE and I keep getting the code

    0x00000001.

    I have completed all the recommended updates and it still wont work. This is extremely frustrating. This is a paid for app that isn't working and I can't seem to get any help!

    Is my final answer to send formal notification to Microsoft and XBox or is there some way to get help?

    When the download fails, does the tile in the Store (under Downloads) say "Attention required. Tap here."? If so, tap that and see if it gives you an error code.

    Also, open up Storage Sense and let us know how much free space you have in the place you're downloading the game (e.g. phone's internal storage or an SD card) -- to download a game, you need four times (approximately) the free space of the file you're downloading.
    So for a 1GB game, you need about 4GB free for the phone to download and install it, otherwise it will fail. For updates, you're usually okay, but if an update fails then this error can kick in - especially if you removed it and are trying to install it from
    scratch.

    If you have insufficient space, delete some smaller things to free up space, then download and reinstall Castle Siege, after which you can download/install the smaller items again.

    I can't install both AoE IV and Forza Horizon 5 through Game Pass 0x00000001 error message. I tried everything, including a fresh install of Windows 11, but I still have this issue.

    Using the XBox platform, on the Manage Installs window, two games are shown as installed (I have an ancient AOE), it recognizes the partial install, but fails with Error 100% and error code 0x803fb107

    Check downloads gets no response and Automatic Updates is on.

    Unable to complete installation of Age of Empires Def Edition on PC from Game Pass

    I have run the SFC scan and it advised there were no errors on my machine. I am still unable to get AOE def 1 to complete install. Gears tactics also won't install but i've been able to install other games from gamepass for the pc without issue
