Anytime my friend joins my party or joins my game, I get kicked off XBL.

Hi there, so I've been having an issue with a friend of mine I've been friends with on XBL for the past 8 years. Never had this issue up until recently. What happened for it to be this way is beyond me. But here's the issues - when he joins my party chat,
I get disconnected from the chat and whatever game I'm on, and XBL for the most part. If he joins my game I'm in, doesn't matter the game, I get disconnected from the game I'm in, and XBL.

Now both of our NAT types are open. We've checked that. We've both hard reset our Xbox Ones and it still happens. Is there anything we can do to fix this issue, or have any of you experienced anything like this. Pleas shlep if you have any insight.

one of those guys hav my ip i got kicked while in the party off xbl and when they join my game i lag alot in gta tbogt

 

cant join friends online game

i get kicked off friends party get a message that says i can not join because of a members content settings. does that mean my settings or is it because they have their settings different than mine?

 

If this is only affecting you and not him , I gotta think its a router issue somehow .... if your wired , try wireless or visa -versa ..... also may do a factory defaults reset on the router and see if it improves...
