    Anything like AoE on Xbox 1?


    As the title states. I remember playing age of empires years ago on PC. Nowadays the closest you get is this "build a house and wait ten hours" rubbish. is there anything like Age of empires where you can actually sit on it for hours and build everything
    up through the ages. Or am I honestly stuck with all of the Clash of Clan spin offs etc..

    Age of Empires for xbox 360

    I would like to see Age of Empires come to Xbox. I still play and enjoy AoE on PC from time to time.

    Unfortunately no.... but there are a few real time strategy games like Tropico 5, Prison Architect and Cities Skylines coming out coming out in the near future that you may enjoy or Civilization Revolution on the 360 but AoE is more a PC game.

    No worries. I'll keep my eyes peeled for them games. And yeah sadly it is. These play to win versions are just taking over everywhere now and killing the originals. Would just be nice to see an old Agenof empires style game to reappear. The market is there

    Roll on the end of this month and Total War: Warhammer gets released on PC, that game will eat up HUGE amounts of time.

    And then in October (I think) Civ 6 gets released, another game that will just turn me into a hermit.

    I know this doesn't help you much, but in my opinion, if your after AoE type games, get a gaming PC. RTS games are nearly always dumbed down for consoles, and just don't feel right.

    Yeah definitely with you on there. It would just be a bit of a struggle to pack up and take my pc back and forth to my Mrs' house every weekend Lol

    Other option would be to invest (love how I call buying a gaming PC an investment) in a gaming laptop. I bought mine from a company called SCAN, and it runs Total War: Warhammer just perfect.

    Speaking of which, Warhammer is without doubt, the best RTS game out there at the moment.
