    Anyone with their controllers losing connection please read below


    Ok I was on the phone to Maria who created another Advance exchange for me this morning

    She also mentioned removing the Kinect to try as it could be that which is throwing out wrong signals (can anyone clarify if this could be true?) anyway the steps to take which I have done:

    1. Hold down the power button till Xbox One switches off then unplug HDMI,Power
    and Kinect from back of console

    2. Switch off at mains and wait till orange light goes off on the brick.

    3. Plug HDMI in then the Power plug in at back of console but not the Kinect

    4. Switch Power back on at mains

    5. Sign in then play console till problem happens again if it doesn't then it's the Kinect and that needs replacing.

    They can do an advance exchange on the kinect and they hold £120 something like that, same process as returning a faulty console.

    At least the above steps are to rule out whether it could be the console or the Kinect, would prefer it to be the Kinect as it's less of a hold on my credit card

    Believe me when I say I'm at my wits end with this and I'm trying everything I can, I don't want to keep sending the console back to get a new one but I will if it means at the end I'll successfully have a console that holds the connection.

    I've been reading mountains if forum websites and there are quite a lot of people with the same issues that are experiencing all this have sent their console to be replaced and received a working one which holds connection...so there is at least hope.

    I'm going to try this way first and see what happens, it's all about trial and error, I shouldn't have to be going through all this but it needs to be done

    Sorry you're having issues with your Kinect. This is an older post, and it looks like the OP was just posting some controller tips. I would suggest creating your own thread so the community can support your exact issue.

    Sorry you're having issues with your Kinect. This is an older post, and it looks like the OP was just posting some controller tips. I would suggest creating your own thread so the community can support your exact issue.
