Anyone with the Turtle Beach XO Seven Pros experience this?

So I finally got rid of my Turtle Beach DX12s that I was using from my Xbox 360 and decided to purchase a new headset. After researching for a while I went with the Turtle Beach XO Seven Pros. It was easy to setup, the build quality is great, and the comfort
level is amazing! The sound quality itself is okay, not surround sound like my DX12s were but it still sounds pretty good. With all that being said however... I'm running into a very annoying issue where the sound like cuts in and out randomly, it's really
bad while playing Ryse: Son of Rome. Sometimes it'll be fine for 15 mins before doing it and other times it'll do it every 3-5 mins. I've updated the controller and all the cables are secure. I've even tried different controllers and different batteries. Same
issue.

I've heard it's the adapter and there's nothing you can do about it but that doesn't sound right... Has anyone else experienced this?

I don't have XO Seven Pros, but i recently picked up XO four Pros and have experienced the same thing. It doesn't happen often, sometimes all sound cuts out on the headset for a second or two. I am also using one of the new xbox one controllers with the
built in 3.5mm headphone jack,

I am wondering if it is the firmware on the new controller or if it is the turtlebeach headset adapter.

Sounds to me like the pin is loosing contact. Next time it goes dead, try ever so slightly sliding the pin out a touch and see it that works.

If it does, then a quick fix would be a very small rubber O-ring (0.99 cents US found in most parts stores) placed over the pin to prevent it from bottoming out.

 

I tried pulling my 3.5mm jack out from the adapter slightly. The cutout still occurred, but only once in a 2 or 3 hour session. I am not sure if this resolved the issue or not. I will need to play with it some more. Thanks for the suggestion ElectroFlying.

I have the XO7, never had that issue but the headset is creaky as in it makes creaky noises when you move. I had them replaced under warranty and a month later it did it again

 

I had the similar problem with my XO7. I also sometimes lose the mic functionality. It comes back when I swap it between different controllers. Not sure why

 

i found that it is usually interference between controller and the xbox, as the headset is using more of the battery power then the signal is reduced slightly, I also found having my sky router next to the xbox does not help either.
