Anyone who tried Game Pass before Oct is ineligible for Xbox Quests

According to the link, anyone who tried Game Pass and didn't like it is screwed.

I think that it's great that Xbox wants to promote it's use, but the contest rules are terrible for this.

I tried Game Pass around 4 months ago, it wasn't for me, but I did end up purchasing a game because of it.

Because I tried it already, I no longer have a free trail.

No free trail means that I would have to pay for a service I don't want (Game Pass), in order to be in the (No Purchase Necessary) contest.

I could enter by mail, but then I cannot get the "mystery prize"

I don't pay for cable, and as such I use my Xbox for gaming and streaming everyday.

In short this "Xbox Quests" punishes avid users like me.

Xbox GamePass Quest

too qualify for the quest was I supposed to have Game Pass before September because I got game pass to do the quest and Cannot find it in my Game pass tab also when I try to check progress its says quest ineligible and I have already gotten 5 achievements

Game Pass Quest September

Hello i am having issues with the quest for September which has to do with the MCC and when i try to check my progress on the quest it says i am "ineligible for this quest" i have Xbox gold and game pass, so im not sure why its saying that. Could it be
because i owned MCC digital before it came to game pass

Be nice if Microsoft responded to these questions. Also, the main page says my challenges are start free trial, 4 Chevy in 4 different games, and log on 15 different days. In the terms the last two reqs are for different entity
application. Doesn't Microsoft have layers to double check their wording on contests??

Keep in mind that to be eligible for the game pass quest you should be "Legal residents of the 50 United States (D.C.), Canada (excluding Quebec) & the United Kingdom, 18 years or older"

Hey Necromancer,

Are you posting in regards to March's Xbox Quests? If so, the rewards will be extra entries to win a 24-karat Gold Xbox One X console instead of codes being sent out. This is also the same for April Quests.

In regards to your Xbox Quest progress, when was the first time you saw the ineligible message? Does that message still show on the page?

I misspoke when I said participation prizes. They were called "rewards" for completing the quests. They (the codes) were not actually prize drawings nor were they listed as winnable prizes (as far as I remember) and there was still a grand prize drawing
that you were entered into if you completed the quest. For example, some of the rewards I gotten for completing the quests were codes for GTA5 shark cards, 1 month of game pass, and 1 month of Gold membership.

So my modified question is; did they remove giving rewards for completing the quests? Or is my mystery ineligibility what prevented the rewards for March's quest? or were they delayed to be sent out?

The ineligible message appeared Sunday, April 22nd, when I went to the URL I linked in my first post and then clicked on "check your quest progress here". And I looked again and the message still comes up as ineligible.
