Anyone still use there original Xbox?

Only for Xbox game......none of which are playable on LIVE as MS went cheap and cut the servers.

The Xbox.Ps2,GC were all great consoles I enjoyed them all very much back in the day.

 

I was playing one for the first time in I don't know how many years last week and I must say it was a little odd at first, but was fairly solid.

 

I remember my time on the first Fuzion Frenzy. Very basic but so much fun. What a heavy piece of kit that console was though (unless I was just feeble when I was younger lol)

 

XBMC although stopped using it years ago. If it allowed for 720p (without fault which it does not) I would still be using it has my main media centre.

One of the best consoles I owned especially because of Halo 2 went through zoo many microphones but boy was it worth it.

 

Sure was a great console, no arguments there. I wish I had kept mine throughout the ages. It would be nice to have my Original aside my 360 aside my One. Just for the sake of it lol.

 

I wish I still had my original Xbox Crystal, it was a beautiful looking console, I have some great memories meeting my first online friends and getting 50,000 kills in one week playing Instagib on Unreal Championship.

The 1st one I bought made so much noise, was horrible. Had some rally game and Halo, also jetset/segagt combo. I completely modded the case, looked ridiculous but lots of people where doing it.

 

Xbox LIVE for the Original Xbox shut down in April 2010. I played Halo 2 and many other games online on the Xbox back in the day. I still have many Original Xbox games, and continue to play them -- well up until my Xbox died --- need to get it repaired!

 

While my Xbox (or anyone else's) won't connect to XBL anymore, I still use mine to play KOTOR and Shenmue 2.

Hey! What happened to the HD Shenmue remake? I would still drop money on that Day 1....

 

Still play mine every now & then.KOTOR, Jedi Outcast II & a bit of THUG 2.

Still have a crystal xbox as well.

 

Crystal xbox, I forgot about those! I never got one I had the standard black (easy to please lol) but damn do I miss it now, reading these posts and games. Unreal Championship <3

 

I got a Crystal one because my normal one had a horrible squeal, so I got it repaired and when it came back I traded it in, I have never had much luck with Microsoft consoles or any electrical gadgets, I can't even wear digital watches without them stopping
working after a week or so, I think I am cursed because my birthday is on Halloween, lol, true story.

 

Unreal was great on the old xbox,as was Wolfenstien. getting all nostalgic now :-(

 

I played a lot of Wolfenstein (RTCW) too, I was a super Medic, I would jump in to a chaotic battle revive 2 or 3 players whilst killing a few enemies then drop all my medipacks and wait for the praise!

 

I also like using this controller at times. Plus the Steel Battalion controller we got ripped off on.
