Anyone still think the Kinect spies on them?

Why people hate Kinect so much

yes they all hate Kinect because they think it will "spy" on them. meanwhile, all those haters have a facebook account, email address, iphone, computer and probably webcam. BUT ONLY THE KINECT SPIES.

Well, I'm probably being spyed on by my phone already, so I guess if the Kinect was spying on me I wouldn't notice and/or care about it.

 

I had a lady over a couple weeks ago. We were interrupted by this weird fapping sound coming from my Xbox. I wonder what it was?

 

Oh you didnt leave our Skype convo Sword, thats my bad as I thought I had muted the tv.

 

Does it matter, the UK Govt has just passed a law where they can spy on us. I mean through every medium we use. Phone, texts, email, Skype, internet usage everything. Speaking of Mediums, that's how I would like to communicate with our beloved leader.

How does that happen? If I am not using my phone it is generally no being pointed at me. So, the camera could not see me. Like last night. The Kinect we currently have in the living room so my wife can do those dancing games is pointed straight at us.
Our phones however are not and are actually on the table in the other room.

I really do not understand the care though. I for sure would not do something illegal in the presence of my phone, Kinect, whatever, if I was going to actually do something illegal. I also would not take my phone if I was going to go somewhere to do something
illegal or whatever. But I guess criminals, or most people in general, are not that smart.

The thing with Kinect I guess for some would be that it is in their living room. And yeah, it can be used to spy. That is obvious. But why would they want to spy on me. Sort of like my phone when I use it or the laptop web cam. They could use it but
I am not going to have it on or set to were it can see things I do not want it to see. Not because I am paranoid or anything. It just is not the most logical of storage positions. I honestly would be more worried about someone monitoring my internet just
because anything you do is easy to get that way.

 

A foil hat does seem like fun.
