Anyone playing Defuse?

I'm hearing it's a "survival" type mode - no respawns in a round. I can see how that wouldn't be popular. Who's playing it?

I bought Oblivion GOTY edition a couple weeks ago. I'm going to start playing it soon. I'm still in Skyrim, and I'm glad I'll have a similar game to whet my appetite for the next one.

I will be playing oblivion when i get my game back from a family member. Right now playing borderlands, halo wars, and the fable series until i get oblivion back.

 

Sounds like SnD, but I havent tried it.

 

it's not a fun game mode, CTF would have been better.

 

CTF is likely still coming with one of the 3 remaining DLC

 

I played it for a couple hours last night, and it is just like search and destroy. It is 5v5 with one life per round. I was having a lot of fun though. But I was also in a squad with only friends, so we were having a good time. I can imagine with randoms
it would become very frustrating.

 

Any vehicles? Or is it on TDM style/size maps?

 

It's all TDM/Domination style maps. It was pretty fun, but as I said that could have been just because I was with friends.

 

No vehicles. Its a decent game type if you like being the star of the show haha. I'd play it more on one condition. Because its slower, no rounds not as many people etc... you don't get as much XP.

 

When you die do you have to spectate?

 

Yes you become a spectator.

 

It's just like Hide and Seek Search and Destroy. I'm glad I just got that one round victory for the achievement so that I can just ignore it forever.

 

Yeah, if its like CoD SnD, its hide til one minute remaining in the round, then its a TDM. Nobody attempts going for the bomb, I dunno why its even there, except for competetive play and then its only used to draw out that last enemy.

 

Actually I have noticed that in Defuse, it isn't like that ^^^^ People actually go for the objective rather than snipe or try to be the last alive and go for legitz clutchz and stuff.. lol I have had some serious fun on Defuse. Hard to find a full match
for me though as we(my friends and I) usually only play Hardcore. But add me if you want to have some fun with some real communication! and Teamwork!
