Anyone NOT excited for Titanfall?

@ Points I can understand, even if they're not something I personally agree with. For me, player count means little, as bigger isn't better. 6v6 works nicely, though maybe 8v8 would could also work as well. I can also understand wanting more Titans, but
I'd rather have fewer that are more balanced with clear roles to play in a battle.

Diversity is an interesting one, but not something I can really lay down judgement on until I've played the full game. As I said in the above post, I do think there's hidden depth there, and the full game should hopefully reveal that.

Thank you for making the effort to come back and lay out your views, though. In regards to Titanfall lately it's felt near impossible to actually have a discussion about it.

 

Considering the team still hasn't updated their scoreboards, network code, auto balancing since those issues were discussed following Modern Warfare, no i'm not too thrilled at all. I'm sick of no real team balance, and i'm really sick of them neglecting
the scoreboard, why don't they show game mode points yet? This isn't 1999. This team has had enough time to get these basic concepts down, and they have refused every single time. Changing kill streaks to mechs and adding really dumb AI doesn't make a good
game.

 

Not to mention this next gen gaming system can only handle 6v6 and not even output at 1080p 60 fps for this hyped up flagship title.I want big team battles like 20v20 or more. 6v6 is original Xbox poop status. Lol this game is gonna blow up on the launchpad.
Not even a single player campaign and an even your grandmother can play attitude show that Xbox like Nintendo is now making casual games for noobs that offer no depth or necessity for skill. I don't need to be good at the game because the matchmaking system
will take turns matching me against people better and worse than me so I'll get a false sense of progress. Game offers nothing special or unique that hasn't been done better already. prepare for TITANFAIL!

 

@ xxxwolfxxx, where do you get your info from?, it is really just an over hyped halo. But it is avaiable on the 360 so it really tells you how much of a next gen only game it is.

Overhyped it may or may not be. A Halo it is not. Not even close.

 

Z3RO sounds exactly like the people I try to avoid when playing online. Sadly you never can.

 

I might check it out on the 360 if it actually seems to live up to it's hype. It's kinda hard to respect developers that tell flat out lies though, so chances are I'll pass on this one.

 

Lol only reason anyone cares about this game is its the first so called next gen experience we can hope to enjoy ... i liked the beta but go bored quick... lets see if they can keep it fresh otherwise ....

 

I think people are just getting burnt out on every FPS being a CoD clone nowdays

 

Well, I love shooters in general, but yeah, they're all pretty much the same. For console gamers it's a shiny new game with shiny new graphics. Nothing I haven't seen for years on the PC, although I'm sure it's fun to play.

 

I am going to pre-order tonight for the 360 version. My main concern is that this is an EA game. EA games 100% always have major launch day problems. So I will keep an eye on the X1 launch for this game and if its rough, I can simply cancel my pre-order
for the 360 version.

 

It shouldn't be to rough on Xbox One, as the beta played very good. There was a downtimes on the second day of the beta but before and after that downtime it was smooth.
