You will not get banned for playing a game early as long as you obtained the game legitimately and can prove so if questioned by Microsoft (show them proof of purchase).

Please, don't spread misinformation.

TBH I really liked what they showed at E3 in 2012 and now with the super massive downgrades it looks like a first year PS3/xbox 360 game or maybe High Tier PS2 game. Granted its not all about graphics but man when its THIS much of a downgrade something just
seems wrong.

@ Ghosts,

I just tried it, basically pause the game, go to "Onine" and when you turn off "Online Invasions" your greeted with a message saying,

"By disabling Online Invasions you will not be available for other players to invade, but you will also not be able to participate in Online Hacking and Tailing. Your Notoriety with be reset to 0 and any Notoriety Skills you have unlocked will be
lost."

I have had the game since friday and the online notoriety is separate for the main game notoriety.

@Gateway you could not be more misinformed. Once a game has gone gold and is sitting in a warehouse ready to be sold, it's fair game. That rule you threw out refers to pirated copies of games or copies of games that are somehow stolen from the developer
before the game has gone gold and is finished. It has happened in the past.

If you buy the game legitimately, you will not be banned. The store will be fined, but nobody will be banned. Don't scare anyone.

And I havent seen it myself, but then again I havent checked. I'm just going to pick it up sometime next week. My hype for it has really fizzled in the past few weeks.

CoC was changed a while back & you can get banned for playing a game early,even if it is a legit copy.
