Anyone know why one gamertags data on a game would over take data on my main gamertag ?

Thanks for the reply. My main worry is the saved games. I am currently over 75% on batman and don't really want to lose it (gamertag recovery doesn't get saved games does it [the cloud gamertag storage should be released]?). Can i reformat without losing
data?

Since there was no apparent save data on the HrdDrive, I believe that the game's data was just saved to each gamertag. Does this mean that if i re-purchase on my xbox, but still use My gamertag that I had created, and connected to xbox live on the previous
system, that the data would be brought over from my GamerTag?

I only ask this because there is no actual memory save that I can find of Castle Crashers under any user that has played it on the previous console.

I would go ahead and erase any data before you take it into Best Buy just to make sure none of your information is shared when it is resold. It will not mess up transferring content to the Xbox One as your Gamertag, Achievements, and Friends List will all
transfer over. Game Saves/Data will not carry over. So if you're ready to dispose of it, you're okay to delete it!

Thanks for all the replies. We wish there was something we could do for this situation. But lets take a minute and think if this was possible. This would take a team of people to manage, to take one profile, remove everything associated to that gamertag.
Now move to the new email, lets say already has a gamertag. Now that needs to be moved, or deleted. Then after that is done, then put the data you wanted on the account. This is just for one person. Times that by lets say 1,000. That is way too much data to
mess with and potentially may end up corrupt in the end and then the data is no good to anyone. So to make it easy Microsoft/Xbox has made it policy to not transfer data from one account to another. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience.

Hi there,

If you erase your saved data locally from the hard drive you will not lose your saved data forever. That is the benefit of the Xbox Live Cloud Storage in that you always have your data backed up automatically as long as you are connected to Xbox Live.

You will need to delete the saved data locally or re-install the game to re-sync your data. First check to see you have a saved data profile in the game management. Press the Menu button over the game, then select Manage Game. On the following screen you
should see a tab that says Saved Data, there you will see your gamertag with a file size for the data. Confirm you see something there.

Try removing your profile and re-adding it to download your account data again from the servers:
