Anyone know when the Party Chat will improve with the next update?

I wish the party system would improve real soon aswell...pretty stupid that a system with only 256mb ram was faster to initiate a party (less lag when hitting homebutton) then this one with 8 gigs of ram. I hit home button...wait for it to actually GO TO
HOME...then go over to party option...then go to start party. Its been a few months since i've been on 360 but im pretty sure it was hit home button...wait ALOT LESS time for it to pop up the menu, then left stick over to party. Why was everything so simpler
on the 360 and why is it taking MS so long to get it back to simple with this system? My main concern/question at the time. Even bringing up friends lists are alot slower. I dont think this three operating system theory was tested very good. Instead of
hitting home button and waiting for it to bring me to start screen why not hit home button and have friends/party/messages tabs pull up like the 360..now that worked for the average gamer...this doesnt work so well.

 

I don't have a problem with the times, my only issue is stability.

 

Hai Below. I don't quite fully like the Xbox 1 Dashboard layout as well. I even did a YT video and think Geek has seen it of a comparison of who easy the xbl party on 360 is. With Xbox 1 it just feels cryptic and windows 8 no avatars no pictures just txt
and green little circle lights of who's in the party. I think you can at least make the parties on Xbox 1 invite only but instead of saying kick from party they took the more formal grown-up notion "remove from party". I think 5 and 10 year olds won't quite
get the fun of Xbox 1's party interface at first glance. Xbox 1 has much more XBL servers than Xbox 360 has more memory more processing power and crystal clear audio codec which Xbox 1 has and Xbox 360 doesn't. And some peps are having stability issues with
it? I'm not saying it's bad though. They have made improvements to it no doubt since X1 launched. M does issue a lot of Updates for it's products. Just give them some time.

 

I do think the dashboard is a little sterile, but if you where new to the 360, I don't think the 360 is overly intuitive, people like it because there used to it.

Also the party system seems to have improved since the destiny update, I got in a party without issue yesterday for the first time in ages.

 

I like the dashboard, it suits the console. it actually looks like a user interface that belongs in the living room alongside other bits of AV equipment. Party chat is a huge improvement in audio quality.

 

I think the UI should suit the user not the box, nothing wrong with adding more options when they have a little more time IMO, something a little less professional might suit a different type of audience maybe....

 

Party chat is fine here :/ only had problems when the xbox one first came out but ms fixed that pretty quick.

 

That's the right word for it! Xbox 1's UI looks kind , too grown up, too Windows 8. Even 5-10 year olds can easily understand the 360 UI and start participate and manage parties. It's familiar. When X1 first came out I thought I was reading a UI that was
meant for someone in their 30s or 40s those kind of peps. I don't hate it, and things have improved. I just find the 360 familiar. No matter if you have ADSL Broadband or Fibre, which ever country you're from that has XBL, no matter if you have strict or open
nat. 360 wins when it comes to the interface, but Xbox 1 wins since it has better cyrstal clear like, audio codec. Usually on 360 an only way to get crystal clear like audio communications is the XBL Party feature or Private Chat.

easy for me double tap start party works for me no issue since i have had the xbox love the party system

 

Options are always good Enen (as long as I have the option to keep it as it is!)
