Anyone know how to get these bose headphones to work for xbox one?

Well i have a headset already but i want a nice pair of headphone i can use outdoors for music that are wireless. Thats why im wondering if i could also use these as a headset

You will need the official chat adapter for the xbox one controller. Then just use the included audio cable and use it to connect them to the chat adapter. Just took a quick look at the product info page and the audio cable is optional so you might not have
it. For the price I would imagine they would throw it in with every pair.

If you have the money for Bose I would go with a dedicated gaming headset. Astro A50 or Turtle Beach Stealth 500X.

Same thing with the new regular Xbox One Controller with built-in 3.5mm Headset Jack. Bose QC15 don't work at all. How is this not fixed yet? These are top quality headphones which work perfectly with PS4 plugged into the Dualshock4 controller. Why can't
Xbox One just update the controller to support it?

This already helped a lot, thanks for sharing those articles. I guess I know what the issue is now. The Bose QC35 just work on the controller with an in-line mic. The mic that is on the Bose already, will not work when connected to the controller.

The mic that’s on my headphones. I have bose and i tried apple and some others as well. Directly into the 3.5mm audio jack. Mic works on all headphones when plugged into my phone.
