Anyone know how to fix black screens after opening games?

So when I go to open up No Man's Sky or Forza Horizon 4, normally after playing Rainbow Six Siege, I get a blank screen. The same day both days I put up a new custom background on my xbox with a separate usb. I have even checked for a virus on it

When I load up Call of Duty Modern Warfare it will go to the first screen then restart the game over and over. Even if I close, without choosing to open warzone, it will open back up by itself

I have already tried hard restarting but I have to do it everyday at the moment.

It started yesterday. Sometimes after restarting it normally I have to restart it again because the controller stops working even though its on and connected. The only thing that would work before restarting again was being able to only press the home button,
holding it didnt work.

I do not like the thoughts of factory resetting it because then I would have to reinstall everything

If factory restarting is the only way to permanently fix this then let me know

i would buy a hard drive transfer all of your games over then i would factory reset your console

I think probably a factory reset is the most likely resolution to this, though initially you can choose the option to keep your games/files.

I did this with the option to keep games, it didnt work so I'm fully resetting the console and hard drive

So if this doesn't even fix it, I have no clue what to do.

I'm even going to format my storage device

I hope this isnt too late... When I had this problem my internal drive was almost at capacity, I transfered the bulk of games to my storage drive, moved my long loading games (NMS and RDR2) over to the internal then did a hard reset. Since then I’ve had
no problems loading into No Man Sky. Hope this helps!

I have already did a factory reset and format on my xbox and external storage. When they are done downloading I'm going to see if it fixes it. Thanks for the info though, GeneralEcks.
