    Anyone in the Preview program know where "snap to screenshot" went?


    I just finished the huge update and I've been going through the new dashboard. It feels even more cluttered than it did, with a heavy emphasis on ads instead of my content. Anyway, I did the double press of my guide button, but there's no longer an option
    to hit Y for a screenshot or X for a recording. Not sure if they've removed the feature or just moved it. At least the new side blade on the left side of the screen is more responsive.

    Can you upload your own gamer pics?

    The person might be part of the preview program and has early access to upload their own picture.

    Yes, those of us in the Preview Program are under NDA but the fact that the look of the Dashboard has changed is not a secret. It was announced months ago & has been shown in press previews (such as the one I linked to above). Heck, I'm pretty sure Major
    Nelson has posted screenshots on his blog too.

    It's still there but I have found some games that don't allow screenshots or dvr clips but they usually pop up a message stating it. (see ROCK BAND 4 for an example of this) Maybe it's the game you're trying to take a
    screenshot in, or it's just a glitch. I can't imagine the dashboard being glitch free. Maybe someone will come along and throw out the link of the Preview Forums. They usually do in threads like this.
