Anyone having problems with NBA2K17 Xbox One shutting down in the middle of the game

I am having the same problem on Call of Duty Cold War Multi Player. My Series X console will shut down in the middle of game play. The controller remains on. Microsoft please help?

Is this the whole console or just the game that shuts down? Even though the area may be clear for proper air circulation double check the vents on the console to ensure they're clean. If your console is plugged into a power bar you should plug it directly
to a wall socket.

You can also try a factory reset on the console to see if that helps. There is an option to keep installed games/apps so you won't need to reinstall them.

Im having sort of the smae problem with my Xbox One S. I was playing a game on my xbox and suddenly it shuts down for no reason and lost all my progress. It did a complete shut down. And it has already been to to microsoft for an internet problem and all
they did was factory reset it like they were talking about the Xbox One X

Love a suspend / resume game feature, nothing like shutting down the system in the middle of a game then after starting back up the system and pick up right where you left off. Also love saying "Xbox On" and having the Xbox, TV and stereo turn on and be
logged in before I even sit down.
