Anyone having problems with CALL OF DUTY: MW(2019) on local split screen multiplayer?

- Close the game and delete the saves in the Manage game & add-ons for COD MW.

- Power cycle your console.

- When turned on, check for game updates.

- Open the game.

Hi,you would need to look in the multiplayer options in each game for Local multiplayer/ split screen. I know for sure Halo 5 has no split screen option though. Call of duty may depending on which game in the series it is.

Are you playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 or Call of Duty: Black Ops? With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 an issue could be you are trying to play split screen online multiplayer over Xbox Live. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 does not support split
screen online multiplayer. On the other hand if you are playing Call of Duty: Black Ops split screen online multiplayer is support however both accounts must be gold subscriptions (unless the 2nd user is signed in as a guest). If this problem proceeds please

You can play the spec-ops or multiplayer game modes in local two-player split-screen. You are unable to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's campaign in split-screen, or play with more than two people on one screen.

The spec-ops game mode, often known as the co-op game mode, can be played in two-player local split screen without limitations. The multiplayer split-screen applies some limits on what multiplayer game modes can be played. Common game modes like Team Deathmatch or Domination are available, but alternate game modes such as Infected or Free for All are prohibited as having two players working together may provide an unfair advantage.

You can also play local multiplayer called "private matches" which pits you and your ally against each other or against bots using maps and difficulties you select. These private matches do not allot any XP to your multiplayer characters but are heavily customizable and can be played offline in split-screen.

In Black Ops 3, you can play all modes of play: Multiplayer and Zombies, in both local and online split-screen. Both Multiplayer and Zombies support 4-player local split-screen, and 2-player split-screen online. Team up through the entire campaign, built
from the ground up around four player co-op play.

Select play local and then press the Xbox button on your second controller. It'll ask you who is using this profile, but you want to select New user. You'll see the guest option there. After that, just press a button and your buddy will be in as a guest
