anyone having an issue with trying to get a custom profile pic through console

I recommend that you sign into your Microsoft account on the Xbox console, use Profile & system and open My profile.

Use customize profile then, use change gamer-pic. Open Upload a custom image, then select the image.

Personally I do not use a custom image as a gamer-pic. I have no images saved on my Xbox console as files, to upload as a custom gamer-pic.

I’m having the same issue at the moment, I logged onto my Xbox the other day and my custom gamer pic has been removed and all my friends have default gamer pics, my friends can still see my custom gamer pic but I can’t see anyones

Edit: I restarted my console and I can see my custom gamer pic but no one elses

Try to change your Gamerpics on your console, just upload the pic on your one drive.

On your console go to you profile, gamerpic, custom and select OneDrive to download your custom Gamerpic.

The ability to upload Custom Gamer Pics has been restored. Here are a few suggestions to get this fixed. Are you trying to do this on console with Xbox Avatar, or Original Avatar? You might try using the Xbox mobile app, or if you have a PC with Windows
10 you can get the Xbox Avatar and Original Avatar from the Windows Store. Try removing your account from the console, then power cycle the console by holding the power button in until it turns off, then sign back in and try to change the gamer pic again.
Is your console up to date as well, there was a new update this past week that might have fixed some issues causing this error? You can also put custom pics on a USB drive and upload them with the Xbox Media app on the console.
