Anyone have issues with video $streaming or DVD$ skipping?

I have done many things with no success.

It is not connection related as I watch DVD with internet turned off and it still occurs.

Have power cycled, refreshed to factory settings. Plugged in to wall only. Still no luck.

Video skips a few times per hour. IT is a 2-3 second pause...

Lip Sync Issues when playing blu-ray on Xbox One.

Also experiencing problems with dialogue layer - cannot use xbone to play blu-Ray or DVD, since update there have been issues on xbox video streaming too - music and other sound but no voice layer. Committed loyal customer absolutely fed up and about to

Xbox One S - DVD & Blu-ray audio out of sync - DVD audio/video sync worse

I just bought the Xbox One S Battlefield version a few days ago. When playing DVDs and Blu-Ray discs, the audio/video is out of sync. The audio/video sync is much worse on DVD discs.

DVD/Blu-ray sync issue is only a fractions of a second, but lip movement does not match speech. Therefore it is most noticeable when people talk fast. I've used the new Star Trek movies for testing because I have DVD, Blu-Ray and Digital copies. Dr. McCoy
talks the fastest, so the sync issue is most noticeable on him.

My issue is limited to the Xbox One S Blu-ray/DVD player. I've tried the same setup with 3 different Blu-ray/DVD players without any issues. When watching TV or videos through streaming apps or cable box the audio/video is perfectly in sync.

I contacted online chat and walked through all their suggestions (including power cycle, reinstall Blu-ray player, clear persistent storage, and reset to factory defaults). Their last suggestion is to exchange my Xbox for a new one.

Does anyone else have other suggestions to correct the DVD audio/video sync issue?

Is anyone else experiencing this audio sync issue? If so, do you have the same Xbox One S Battlefield Edition (Military green with 1 TB hard drive)

+1 Same issue here. I am not running HDMI as I have an older xbox, DVDs, movie TRAILERS, TV, everything else plays fine. The Xbox Video Stream is way too dark. Makes horror movies or movies shot in the dark, un-watchable.

Anyone have suggestions? Is the the composite connections? Why do the trailers look fine and bright and not the stream?

I have also had the random black screen issue when playing video from DVD, on a streaming service (i.e. Netflix, etc.), and with Youtube (worst offender). Not sure what is going on but seems that maybe a software issue and not a hardware one? I do not have
this issue in game as far as I can tell.

I honestly think most of netfilx profit comes from the digital, xbox, ps3, wii, computer, psp, smartphone, dvd players and now even new tv's have built in net flix. Streaming video is what they are moving into less dvds.

Is your console connected to a wireless or wired connection. If you are on wireless, check your signal strength under system settings and make sure everything is okay just to be sure. You should be able to skip the test from what I remember and continue
with a 1080p video stream. If you have purchased a video from the marketplace before, see if that video still streams in HD.
