Anyone going to manchester comic con this week can play evolve

Have I mentioned I played it at Comic Con Manchester, I am gutted.

 

Where in Manchester is Comic Con and what day(s) is it on? Cheers.

 

Its at the Gmex, its on today and tomorrow, if you haven't go tickets already you can queue, when I left at 12midday the queue was over 4 hours long in pissing down rain.

TBH is didn't know it was going to be there, otherwise I would have mentioned it earlier. (took about an hour to get to play, so not bad)

Cheers pal. I Googled it as you were probably replying! It looks pretty good and relatively inexpensive but there is no way I could queue for that long lol. Damn shame I never knew about this earlier because my 10 year old daughter would have a field day.
Oh well, cheers anyway.

 

its was much better this year than last, actually wasn't looking forward to it this year, but really looking forward to next year, if you get the early bird tickets you don't queue for to long,we were in within about 30 mins, and the queue was long.

One mega bad point, you can meet celebs, they charge £15 for an autograph and £20 for a picture, that is total *** IMO, and its not even for charity, I mean does warwick davis need the money that bad?

 

Maybe he's a little short at the moment.....

I think he needs to speak to jimmy cars accountant, but its not just him, all the celebs there were at it.

 

just found out some people in the queue didn't even get in, ouch.....

 

I wish I could of made it but its way out my way and I don't drive. Looking forward to hearing all the goss off those that do attend though

 

not a lot more to say really, some ppl were really upset about the ticketing system they have, i know people that queue for 4.5 hours in the pissing rain and didn't get in.

Costumes were good, but the sunday pics look amazing, this year was a lot better than last, this year they had games for the first time, still to many retailers and not enough additional info, or stuff to do free.

Apparently the celebs charge way more than advertised on the website.

But one thing it is, is an amazing atmosphere, definitly going again next year.

 

Thanks dude. I must admit, I want to try and get to one of these sorts of gatherings at some point. I always say "next year" to myself but never follow through. Hopefully next year I manage to actually go lol
