Anyone Experiencing the same problems?

To Everyone,

I am wondering how many people are experiencing speed issues with xbox live servers or there such. To give you example of what I am dealing with. I am with Xfinity (Comcast), I live near Galveston, Texas. Through my ISP I pay for 250mbs Download and 12mbs
upload. When I do Detailed Network Statistics I have fluctuating speeds. Varying from .92 mbs to 221 mbs download, and the upload speeds normally stay @ or around 12 mbs.

I have contacted xbox live with no prevail. They want to blame the ISP, I do a test on speedtest.net, bufferbloat and a few other sites and it shows I have my speed on the internet. Just don't understand why I dont recieve it from xbox live. if others are
experiencing this same issue please comment and let me know if you found any way to resolve this.

Is this over wifi or ethernet? It looks like your peak speeds are fine, it's just the consistency that's an issue? If you're on wifi, switching to ethernet/cable if possible might help improve consistency of the speed - your wifi signal is subject to being
distorted by all manner of other things in the household like cordless phones or microwaves, or even simply not having direct line of sight between router and console can impact your speeds.

 

I am sorry, I should have added that. I am hardwired with CAT6 ethernet. I have 6 xbox one's running in my house and everyone of them have the same problem. So it isn't Xbox's it isn't internet to the rest of the world. This doesn't happen on the playstation
network. I show my speed on their system. I show my speed to all other sites. I don't get it to Xbox live. I play alot FPS games and the fluctuating speeds is not very good. We have had to revert to playing hardcore games in order to get kills. on regular
core unless the enemy sucks or I sneak up on them, i will most likely lose every gun battle.

Before we go into equipment try to keep this in mind. Everything that has to do with the internet in my house is under 3 moths old. I have been replacing routers and modems at my cost (not isp) to try and fix this issue to no avail. It's getting frustrating.
