Anyone ever have this issue after purchasing a game?

So I purchased GTA V s/x version and after installing it never appeared in installing or my games. I can see the game was purched and when I dmho to the MS store and select the game it says manage and not install, I open the manage and I get this annoying message

" Check back in a little bit " we're having trouble getting your stuff right now. I've been on the phone with a rep for nearly an hr and after trying several steps nothing worked. I've even disconnected my external hdd, deleted my old Xbox one version of the game still nothing. I brought my console with me from home to my in laws house in DE and connected via wifi like I would anytime I visit but It just won't let me get to install this game. Any helpbwould be appreciated.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

"1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. "

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

"Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps."

I am having the same issue. I got the demo and it froze after the first level, I thought that deleting it and redownloading it would fix the issue. So I purchased the full game and redownloaded it and it is STILL freeezing. Does anyone have a fix to this
issue?

I have clarified the issue with the pending credits and that's no longer an issue but still wondering why I've barely ever received any rewards/% back on purchases even after the changes to the reward scheme, despite having a vip rank.

So...After spending about 48 hours straight on this issue I decided to give up and refund the items.

It seems unless you purchase items from the console itself, you won't be able to download them as the purchase history link on the discontinued xbox 360 no longer works.

Thanks to anyone that read this. Best of luck to those that ever get stuck like I did.
