Anyone ever have their saved creations vanish from GTA Online?

I had three races that I'd spend about 5-6 hours making, and when I logged in last night, it said I had none saved. All my gear and my level was unchanged, but these saves had vanished. This a common thing?

Daughter's Minecraft stuff all disappeared.

Sounds like someone might have destroyed your daughter's creations was there anyone else on her world when she was on before her stuff disappeared ? Unfortunately there is no way to retrieve a previous save but a good idea is to copy your daughter's save
game to iCloud at least once a week that way it prevents the massive loss of a saved world from being corrupted or creations being destroyed by other players

 

Creation mode kills achievements even just loading it?

Yea, I read the dialog but I am unsure if they really mean it. It says that loading a survival game in creation mode will stop all leaderboard activity as well as any achievements for that game that was created, saved, joined or LOADED in creation mode.

Really?

LOADED but not saved breaks achivements?

I tried it with a new world created in creation mode. It indeed does do a popup when loaded in survival.

I created a world in survival, saved, and reloaded in creation. I saved. It indeed does popup a warning.

I created a world in survival. Copied it to my cloud (because I didn't want to damage it). Loaded in creation but did NOT save. I can load it in survival with no popup.

The question I have is if it was created in survival, edited in creation and saved, does it shut down achievements for others joining it either via split screen or network? I have 400/400 so I don't care for me, but for others I care.

I have not used the host options at all yet. Do they also affect the world in the same way as creation? IE, not affecting it unless saved?

 

I wouldn't know about it so, probably other peeps might able to help you out.

 

Rockstar has been having trouble with the Social Club, so I'm guessing this is linked to that. Other players haven't been able to start missions..

 

Its all better now. Your save may still be there.

 

Thanks for the replies. BAD, you're right....they came back. Must have been server related. That's a relief.
