Anyone else hoping for a "Shocker Homefront 2" announcement at this years E3 if not ...

I actually had alot of fun with the story line and it worked with more original content, just fell to the side of every other shooter that went against the COD lame duck concept. Hoping for some new details getting leaked out soon around April or May

Next Generation Console

Well, it's been 7 years, and despite people hoping for an announcement at this past E3... still nothing. 10 years give or take 1 seems legit.

Homefront had some very good ideas in the MP.... I liked the purchase your own vehicle with kill points.... great maps... but the gameplay needed tons of help.... and at the time BC2 was in it's prime so it did not stand a chance...

The first one looked really good but I never really got around to getting it. I heard what tohellnback said about the gameplay and figured I'd give it some more time. If a second one comes out I'd gladly give it a shot.

If it happened, I wouldn't be shocked. It's been rumored to be in development several times. I think there was even leaked footage of a sequel....I think.

Homefront 2 could be announced at E3. I doubt it, but it is possible. The first Homefront sold well and it was actually one of my favorite recent shooters. I loved the concept of it, but unfortunately it lacked polish. Hopefully Crytek puts off Ryse 2 for
2016 and maybe announce Homefront 2 for 2014/2015.
