Anyone else having issues contacting xbox support?

Hi all. I have been trying to contact xbox support for a while now. Every time I phone I just get a recorded message playing that offers no menu options and at the end says "Thank you for calling xbox support. Goodbye."

So next I go through the motions using the virtual assistant and after a while it gives me three options:

Request a call back. I choose UK +44 and it ask for my number in this format: XXX XXX XXXX. So I type my number in that format but every time I click the confirm button my number is automatically switched to this format: XXX XXXXXXX which results in an error
that prevents me from requesting a callback.

Chat with an Xbox Gamer: When I click this option the virtual agent window just goes all white and freezes.

Post to these forums: The only option that works but cant get many responses or ideas to help.

Does anyone know whats going on?

Is it down to this Covid 19 carry on? (which is understandable, But no one even from home can put up a small message on the site telling everyone that it's down due to Covid 19? Really?) Or is there gremlins in the xbox support sites or some other technical
issue going on here???

contact us is broken and needs fixed

UPDATE: Now every time I call the customer support number it doesn't even ring it just cuts out instantly

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. Sorry for the issue with the Contact us. What is the issue you are having? We maybe able to help you out. Due to the world epidemic support has seen its affects. If you need a support agent try rebooting device and
here is a guide to request a call.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----click on Contact us
Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

Wonder if anyone else in other countries are having issues as well? Just like others have said, contact support & they’ll make it right.

If anyone else has this issue go to perfect world's site and submit a ticket, also if you have a way to contact xbox support post it please. This is ridiculously frustrating not having a way to contact xbox support or get a answer a fix. Ps expert xbox gamer
chat is a waste of time the info they share can be found online (completely useless)
