Anyone else having a problem with the new update

I have I have several friends that since they have gotten the new system update that their systems have crashed regularly and can only play DVDs or Blu-Rays every time they load a game Weather by disc or digital it will crash they
even move them to the internal hard drive and it still crashes others have moved them to the external hard drive and it still crashes.

Everything was working fine before this latest system update why now brake what was not broken

Update 1407 Broke External Drive

Anyone else with update 1407 having this problem?

 

Wont turn TV on or off

I'm on this new beta update for xbox one and since this my tv won't turn off with the command xbox off. Everything else does but the tv. Anyone else having the same problem?

 

And and they all have the new Xbox One X pre-order and at this point they're going to cancel their pre-orders and switch over to PlayStation if this does not get fixed what is everybody's opinion

 

I've been Xbox gamer since the very first Xbox came out for sale I got mine about a month after the initial release and I wholeheartedly back to Xbox in every argument that is regarded systems but the fact that every time there is an update now it is a major
update that breaks the system rather than doing minor tweaks to try and improve one aspect of the system and if the community as a whole does not like the change revert back then go to another area the updates have been massive once it ruin everything making
games impossible to play and making the system an overpowered overpriced DVD player if it will even work for that half the time there's times I wonder if I pick the right side

 

The software designers as well as their dept heads, who do the updates all need to be fired.

There's always room for improvement, but If it ain't broke. Don't fix it.

Seems when it comes to these "updates." or downgrades would be a better term. These software designers may.need to go back to University and demand their money back, then use it to actually obtain a quality education, afterwards they can then re-apply for
a job and....

Perhaps actually do a quality one.

 

I have seen a few posts where the update clearly hasn't gone well and that's left the person's console close to being a brick - it'll take ages to start up, games won't start or will randomly crash after a few minutes etc. A factory reset has fixed that
in every case where I've seen someone try one though, so that would be my advice - factory reset the console. It's a pretty painless process.

 

I have just finished a factory reset an did the update an my system is still nothing more then a over powered blue-ray player. If they can't come up with a fix an soon I'm canceling my pre-order for the new xbox. I have been playing
on xbox since they first came out. So I have alot of money invested in my system an games as well but if I can't play them what's the sense of spending $500 on the new system. An a lot of my friends are having issues with their systems as well since the new
update.

 

Just bring back the people who did the 360 UI. That's awesome. Yea the new UI crashes my dad's console a lot too. It's messed up even I don't understand it - lol

 

My Xb1 is having trouble recognizing my ext HD since the update yesterday.. And I mean immediately after I loaded the update.. When the console does recognize the ext hd, everything is slow - loading games or even just accessing things in the dashboard,
I repeatedly get error messages saying things are taking too long to load.. Also, on and off, the console is refusing to recognize or sync with the controllers.. Have tried all the cache-clearing, rebooting options, unplugging, replugging everything, etc.,
etc.. Nothing is helping..

 

Since the last update, my xbox has been freezing and crashing. I'm very frustrated.

 

Yes! Cancel! I imagine the dealers will have no problem finding others to take those X's.

BTW... I've had NO issues with any update... EVER. That's just kwazy don't ya thinks?

 

yeah my Xbox takes about 30 mins to an hour to even turn on now and I had to factory reset at least 5 times since the update. Now my Xbox is pretty useless all thanks to the unnecessary update. I payed damn near $500 for the 1Tb console when it came out
and only had it for 2 years.
