Anyone else have two small black marks on the back of their Locke controller?

Hi,

This is just a question to anyone who has a limited edition spartan Locke controller or Xbox support.

Last year I bought the Halo 5 Guardians console, when I took the controller out of the box I noticed two black marks on the lower back of the controller's handles, I assumed this was normal and didn't think anything of it, it was only today that I watching an
unboxing video of the console and noticed that there were no black marks on his controller. It doesn't affect me or my games or the controller but it does make me a little annoyed that I own a blemished controller that I payed a lot of money for.

Anyone else have this "issue"?

Microsoft acquires developer Press Play

Did anyone else hear about this:

Their game history consists of only two games and they were windows phone games. Their two games are Max & the Magic Marker and Tentacles. Now i have a windows phone, but i have yet to play these games. So i can't comment on whether they are good or not.
Does anyone else have a windows phone and if so, have you played one of the games listed above? If so, how are they?

What do you guys think about this?

 

Exchange Program/small white spots *2 questions*

Hi guys,

UPS delivered my replacement console this morning, unfortunately after opening I discovered a dent near the rear of the console(OCD). The side vent had a few scuff marks, so I was able to simply swap it over. Microsoft have told me to set up another exchange
once the old console arrives in Germany. The most alarming for me was when I unplugged the old console, I notice hundreds of small white spots(stains) that wouldn't budge. I don't allow anyone near the console as it is, nor do I use any polishes on the piano
black. Anyone else seen these before? I remember getting these on my laptop a few years back.

Also has anyone else used the advance exchange program before, how did you guys find it and has the console been reliable?

Hey there Fireteam Halo,

We've not seen this before, if you recently purchased the bundle, you might want to check in with the retailer and see about exchanging the controller if possible.

 

Those marks are pretty reminiscent of normal usage wear on the controller paint, similar to what you see on heavily used, older laptop touch pads. The natural oils on your fingers and friction can gradually wear at the paint and reveal the base color of
the plastic.

But, since you're saying that you've seen these marks since you've unboxed your console last year, I might wager that this is just a cosmetic defect.
