Anyone else have trouble with local co-op and achievements?

I'm wondering if anyone else have trouble with local co-op and achievements? I don't usually play local co-op but I bought Lego Marvel, so I could have something to play with my daughter and it seems like there is some kind of issue with the game or system
recognizing that we're both playing, and that we both should have unlocked some achievements.

I was signed in already, so I signed her in. Then I launched the game, and we played a couple of story missions. I noticed that she was getting the pop-ups for achievements being unlocked but I didn't. When we were done, I checked and sure enough they didn't
unlock for me. The next time I played signing us both in, then making sure that we both chose our profile on the home screen, and then logging into the game. The achievements seemed to unlock for us both, but the next time we tried this I was the only one
they seemed to unlock for.

I'm kinda wishing the game brought up the sign in dialog that 360 multiplayer games had, because that seemed alot more reliable.

all the new ip looked great but....

some of them looked like they will be co op and is it just like a forgone conclusion that no video games anymore even ones when it makes absolute sense to have local co-op will never have local co-op because the gaming industry needs more money even
though its already a multi billion dollar industry.I mean recore and gigantic look like they are co-op and therefore should definitely have local co-op and i hope atleast rare knows gamers want local co-op since many of their games from the golden age of gaming
were co-op and would want to continue that tradition.Is anyone else annoyed by how modern gaming gears more towards online multiplayer instead of local co-op?

Anyone else finding the co-op to be extremely difficult to get a star? It seems like they want you to use the skulls which only makes it that much more difficult. Local co-op or co-op campaign don't exist either. Lame sauce.

 

i'm not 100 percent sure but i think Lego Marvel is just set up that way to unlock only for the main person .. i played with my brother and noticed the same thing but then again, i could've just been doing it wrong.

but i think that's what i heard .. not sure but it could be just a fail of a system by the game itself.

 

@vDEACON It seemed to work on our second gaming session, but then didn't again on our third.

 

i played Lego Marvel with a friend on his PS4, has second player i didn't get any of the trophies, thought i had read somewhere that only player 1 gets the achievements/trophies, but all i know is that i didn't get nothing for being player 2.

 

that's what i think too Zero. i'll try to confirm that.
