    Anyone else have issues with USB stick (with movies on it) randomly dissconnecting


    I have yet to be able to watch a full hour and a half movie without this happening, I purchased this system not even really to play games, mainly for the reason i can plug my usb in and play my movies from laptop (like my ps3) ... i have never had this issue
    - even once with ps3, and i cant even go a movie without this happening to me, i have used 4 different USB sticks, all different brands.

    will there be updates to get rid of this problem? yes the quick fix is to simply unplug it and plug it back in, fast forward to where i was.. however i should not have to do this at all. let alone several times a movie. starting to get really annoyed with all
    the problems i am noticing with this system.

    Map editor freezing

    Mine is on Xbox. It freezes very randomly. Sometimes after a couple of minutes, sometimes I can go for 20 minutes. It's pretty lame to put a bunch of work and detail into a map only to lose it when your console freezes. I hope this gets fixed soon.

    I am saving my maps on a USB stick. Anyone else with freezing issues using a USB stick? Maybe we can narrown down the problem.

    USB recognized but movies not showing up

    I've looked around for the answer but no luck so far. I'm trying to watch movies on a USB stick on my 360. Seems pretty simple, configure it for FAT32 on my computer loaded the movies on it in .avi format and stuck it in my xbox. The xbox recognizes the
    USB stick but doesn't see any movies. What am I missing here? It seems to work fine for everyone else.

    When i had my 360, I used to hate this about them. I used numerous USB stick and Countless different formats for movies to see what would work. I was able to use a 4gb USB stick to watch movies in the MP4 format. Anything else didn't work. But as far as
    i know theres no patch or software that will let you transfer movies from a USB stick or external hard drive to the xbox internal hard drive. i suggest trying different USB devices as some external hard drives dont even register on the xbox. Also the format
    of the movies you have on USB as anything in MKV wont work. You'll need to convert movies into MP4 or AVI

    I've noticed this issue as of late as well. A hard reset hold downing the XBOX One button is the only way to resolve the issue. The problem seems to happen over multiple games on my system. I use a USB extender for my fight stick and always leave it plugged
    in ever if the stick is not. Anyone else using any of the USB ports having this issue ? I also noticed another bug that mic of the wireless controller wouldn't detect until I rebooted the Xbox.

    I do it alot ,it's aggravatting, but be carefull taking about moding your controller on these forums,you could get flagged or suspended from live.
