    Don't Post much around here anymore but I have not purchased any physical Media for the Xbox One (and even late 360 unless it was the only way).

    Such an archaic outdated form of delivering Media Content (Physical Media) it's almost sad people still hold onto it. But meh, I'll just do my part in shaping the future buy supporting it with my wallet.

    I don't see how it's ''sad''. People like to sell their games when they are done with it, you can't do that with digital games, not atm anyway. Also most of the time it's still cheaper to buy physical games than digital, that's why I only buy digital if
    it's actually cheaper or on sale.

    I'm all digital myself now (unless there's a decent collectors ed), I have superfast broadband though (200mb) with VM so probably wouldn't be so enthusiastic otherwise

    Well, to put it in perspective, right now I've got a hardwired connection through my router to my cable modem. My specs this morning are

    Download Speed = 77.96 mbps

    Upload Speed = 11.93 mbps

    Packet Loss = 0%

    Latency = 82 ms

    All of that is great except for the darn latency, which really sucks these days. A year or so ago I'd have ~20 - 30 ms at most. Ugh.

    Anyone else have a hard time getting used to buying digital for AAA games?

    Apart from two games I'm entirely digital on X1. I'm eyeing a few physical games now though. I paid £40 for DR3 digitally from the Xbox Store recently, not in a sale obviously. Can get new copies of it for £12 in my local store.

    The early X1 titles are dirt cheap physically now, new, while digitally they're holding crazy price-points. So... it's starting to make sense to hop on the physical bandwagon and drink the coolade there.

  10. I want to buy digital however I'm not paying nearly 20 a game to get it so I'm sticking with physical copies,

  11. I started off with mostly disc, but have been getting more and more digital for several reasons.

    First, there have been a few publishers' sales that have had games for a decent price.

    Next, no more waiting around in 'midnight release' lines for titles I'm really anticipating.

    Also, the convenience of not having to mess with discs combined with the above and not having to go anywhere to get the game is pretty appealing.

    Well, to put it in perspective, right now I've got a hardwired connection through my router to my cable modem. My specs this morning are

    Download Speed = 77.96 mbps

    Sounds really close to what I get.

    DL = 74.93

    UL = 12.97

    Packet Loss = 0%

    Latency = 86ms

    Hardwired connection (you couldn't pay me to use wireless).

    BTW, I wouldn't focus too much on that latency number... using the advanced network diagnostic tool in the X1's settings always connects you to the same MS server, which is why
    latency usually doesn't change much, using that test. Mine is either 86 or 88 and rarely-to-never goes out of that range.

    That's why I really appreciate games that show the available servers and the latency for your connection to their servers. That's the actual latency you'll experience. I remember
    testing it with Titanfall. I did a test in the X1's settings, got the usual 86ms, then popped in TF, checked the latency for that connection and got the usual 32ms. It's been the same with other games as well.

    I wouldn't mind going digital but as a few others have mentioned here, there is no way I'm paying more for digital than a physical copy that I can always trade if wanted. Fallout 4 is currently £10-£15 more than the physical equivalent depending on where
    it's purchased, sorry but that's an unacceptable price difference.

    I actually managed to get Fallout 4 for £34, couldn't get that deal digitally yet. But if I could then yeah I would probably buy a digital version.

    I only get between 3 - 4MB, so downloading a game takes a day or 2, but I don't mind waiting.

    Yep physical here for all games unless it's a sale item that I passed on first time around, I payed £35 for Fallout, digital is way to expensive, but even if it was cheaper I would still probably opt for a disc.

    Also with physical some of the loyalty rewards are outstanding compared to Xbox rewards trash. Rakuten often has a 25x points deal on now, which effectively gives you a good £5 in points on each game to use off something else.
