    Anyone else getting the disc error when putting in a different game/movie?


    My xbox one is now regularly giving an error anytime I switch games or try a movie. After enough work I have been able to get it to recognize the disc but man what a pain. I have scheduled to have it fixed but hate to mail my xbox one away. Can anyone
    help? I've tried everything I know to do.

    I got this error (0X80073cfe) after putting in a game that I have played for over a year "Minecraft xbox one edition". Anyone else getting this error for no reason?

    Disc read problems

    Anyone else having problems with a disc is unreadable error. I can install the first disc, but when I put the second in, I get the error message. Other games work fine, as well as being able to install first disc. What do I do?

    Had the SME problem to the point it wouldn't read discs at all whether game music or movie. Scheduled with a support agent for an advanced exchange. They sent me a replacement console that arrived there days later now I just have to send my old one back.
    I would talk to an agent about setting an advanced exchange if I were you. Very good service.

    I'm having a similar issue, my projector is getting 4k during game play but not when I put a 4k disc in, it's getting 1080p then. Is this happening with anyone else?

    Just to confirm, will the Xbox physically accept a disc when you put it in the slot? Assuming so, it just isn't showing up on screen and allowing you to play, watch, etc. the disc? Have you tried multiple discs of different types--DVD movie, BluRay movie,

    Try a different game disc or even try a movie disc that is of a supported format. There are cleaner discs you can put in the can "clean" the reader if you feel the need to.

    I did once. It wasn't loading the race in the hoppers then it dashed out complaining it couldn't read the disc... Strange since it's on the harddrive..
