Anyone else getting sick of poor products from xbox?

Like many people I seriusly enjoy playing xbox, there is nothing that I love better than playing with my freinds on GTA or cod it's fun, but what I don't enjoy is paying £300 for a console that has a fault in every part of it for example there is something
wrong with my disc drive that makes a horrendous gridning sound whenever I put discs in and it won't play them so I have to reinsert 5-10 times As a minimal. My kinect doesn't turn in half the time so I have to hard reset my console 3 or 4 times for it to
work and also my controller sometimes won't respond even though it's on, I took all this in my stride and thought nothing is perfect at least I have a console but now this problem is the final straw and I shall say why. I recently had to start using my mic
as I alwyas use kinect but I need it to play certain game modes to talk to friends and such, so bearing in mind my mic has never been taken out of the packaging it's fresh and new, I plug it in for the first time and it's doesn't work I can talk but not hear
anyone, then I shift a little and the mic makes a fuzzy sound I look at the wire and wiggle it and I fuzzes again but I can hear my now I thought strange? I then Sussed out i can only hear my friends when I move the wire up and I thought are you kidding me
another faulty thing? by this time I started getting annoyed really annoyed. so I can't ring xbox so I go on with an ambassador who sends me to all these different pages with troubleshooting nothing works, so I said bye to the ambassador as they could do nothing
unfortunately so I que for 30 mins to chat to a support agent, he was nice and supportive but did exactly what the ambassador did send me to the same pages over and over, eventually I said I think there is a wire problem and he agreees with me! So he sent
me to the service page where I sign in and try to order a replacement, but I am the, presented with a paying option of 17.50 GBP!!! I got abit annoyed and said you want me to pay and the agent said yes of course? I said I payed a lot of money for a console
and all I have had is problems with it and now you want me to pay more? And he said im sorry if there was any other way, I'm not expecting a new bloody console but at least have the decency to help me out im a kid it took me long enough to save for the console
for Christ sake! I refused to pay and said thanks but I'm not paying for your mistake(xbox not agents mistake) a day later I bit the bullet and bought a new mic form a retailer in store! Guess what THE SAME PROBLEM I HIT THE F-ING ROOF THEN! XBOX SORT YOURSELF
OUT I SHOULDNT NEED TO PAY FOR A NEW MIC IN THE FIRST PLACE AND YOU WONT EVEN HAVE THE DECENY TO GIVE ME A NEW ONE BECUASE OF YOURSTUPID MISTAKE YOUR A MULTI BILLION COMPANY AND THE MIC PORBABLY COST pocket change to make SORT YOURSELF OUT OR IM FINDING A
NEW CONSOLE

I would suggest you submit and RMA for your console. You seem to be very unlucky to have all of these problems I agree they do have issues with some things but that can't be helped when the are so many products! Here is a link for you to submit an RMA where
you can send your things of to be fixed and if your console is less than 1 year you can get it all fixed under warranty

The only options you have are...

Follow all the troubleshooting suggestions to the letter.

Send the equipment in for repair.

Purchase new equipment.

I understand your frustration, and that you felt the need to vent these frustrations on this forum, but there is nothing more anybody can do, unfortunately. The ball is in your court, so to speak.
