Anyone else getting 'phishy' messages?

If there is a thread related to this issue and it is not just in my immediate friend circle let me know. I tried to find similar topics to no avail.

The situation is a brand new account is made typically using a friends account and then quickly adding his or her friends and then sending those accounts messages like the following;

"hi im Beverlie we go to class together remember! i used to have a crush on u text me really quick I have text u a few pis with me (phone number here)."

then there is shared content from one of your friends accounts usually at the bottom. I have gotten one of these messages already and one of my friends (with a different account) have gotten the same kind of message though they are a bit different like I
think one of them said it was Valery.

The point being this is something not good and I hope it can get addressed right away. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Don't know what you mean by phishy stuff but im quite sure i haven't done something phishy.

That makes sence i supose. Still quite anoying. This investigation will take a month (or so i was told) and i wont be able to play this game until its over?

 

Anyone else not getting MW3?

Well we've already been over this, but I will bet you $10 that BF3 on consoles will look more like BC2 is now than what you see in BF3. The consoles simply can't produce those kinds of graphics.

This point I do concede after seeing the MP gameplay. They definitely haven't added much graphically, so I guess it'll come down to gameplay.

I was just saying that to the guy telling us we're retarded for not instantly liking his game of choice.

This spam has been going on for a while and recently has picked back up, gotten some weird ones and sale's spam messages in the past. Don't open, or interact with any of these messages that may seem "suspicious" to you.

The best thing to do when you get messages like this is to report the messages via console, and usually the Xbox Enforcement Team takes action on these spam accounts very quickly.

 

yup best thing to remember is don't give out any personal information to people you don't know.
