    Anyone else getting '' device too slow'' AGAIN??


    Just when you think everything is fixed after an eight month period of not being able to capture gameplay of up to one hour's duration using an external hdd it appears the fault has returned.

    Was their a console update this month?

    What really dismays me about this is the fact I was recording an Xbox 360 game on my Xbox One.

    How can the device now suddenly be '' too slow'' on an Xbox One no less?

    Not a week goes by that there isn't some annoyance irrespective of whatever platform I am on.

    Really makes this '' hobby '' unenjoyable.

    Will this be ignored or gaslit like last time?

    Also note that optimized games for the Series S can't be installed to just any drive. You'll need to get the Seagate Expansion card to do that.

    Storage Device too slow error

    Xbox Series X|S games can only be installed on the console's internal storage or the external Seagate SSD card. Link here. External drives are too slow for those games. The external hard drive can only be used to install backward compatible games (Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One).

    Dont know about anyone else but my dash is so slow to load now its getting beyond a joke.

    Xbox One chewing through bandwidth - No downloads active.

    If it happens again you might want to check the other devices on your network to see if anything else is going on. 3.5Mb/s is pretty slow and it would not take much to eat into that bandwidth.
