Anyone else feel like we're missing out?

The X1 was the first console I've ever purchased at launch and I wasn't sure it was a good idea. I'm glad I've had my X1 since Nov. I just purchased a 2TB hard drive for $119. Do I wish I'd waited for a special edition console....sort of while the COD
one is cool I'd rather have been playing X1 from Day One.

Nice post Great 1ne! I do understand where your coming from. I'm sure some stores will have special promotions to give you the majority of the amount of money for you to upgrade if you have your eyes on a specific console. If your just looking to upgrade
your memory though, it would be much cheaper for you to just go out and buy and external hard drive. That's what I did I have 2 TB's of space plus the 500gb hard drive which is more than enough space for me. Just something to think about. Good luck on whatever
you decide to do.

 

I'm fine with my 500GB X1. We all knew that bundles would be released soon. Personally, I love my shiny black X1, and I wouldn't choose any other color.

 

To expect bundled consoles at launch is asinine. You arent missing out on anything. You have had the console for months now, would you really trade those months of enjoyment for a bundled console? I for one wouldnt, but thats just me.

In any case, I brought the Day One Edition and am not really having any pity of it. It comes with Kinect.... and I <3 my Kinect and the features of it. Plus I saved $1 off the full RRP for the console in my country. And I got a Day One Achievement and Microsoft
autographed my controller (with Day one 2013 inscribed on it). And EB Games gave me free official Xbox wrist bands and Xbox necklaces and they packed my console (black box) in a big EB Games bag.

Now you can get it cheaper from some authorized retailers and there's a Kinect-less SKU as well. I'm satisfied that I got it day one. Always got to be the first to try something new ^-^. And Microsoft is releasing frequent updates and are listening to feedback
even creating an official feedback site. Since Launch, the console now has Dolby support, external HDD support, battery indicator, recent players list, and more. I don't mind if... there's a white SKU coming out. There has been no hardware revision so no matter
what edition/version of the Xbox 1 console you got (eg. special edition, Kinect, without Kinect), it's the same hardware inside as the day one and standard versions.

 

Oo and to add, I'm smart and have kept my Xbox 360 250gb slim console so get to enjoy the best of both worlds. For those who are looking to upgrade, I would suggest keeping your Xbox 360. Both are very good investments. 15 of my friends both have an Xbox
1 and Xbox 360 and play on both.

I love my Xbox One

With that being said, I am going to try ("try" being the operative word here LOL) to adapt a "I will buy a game, finish that game and then buy the next game after I beat it" policy.

I hope that I will have "zero" back-log for my Xbox One by the time the next Xbox console comes out LOL

While I will agree that have an extra 500 GB of storage space is nice indeed, buying an External HDD isn't going to be an issue at all

Nope. It's about where I expected.

I think they messed up by not having next gen headsets available at launch.....and stereo? We were Dolby digital years ago. I'd also like to see the old navigation come back. Hitting the middle button was very convienen. I use voice commands, but I prefer
the middle button in many situations.

I don't really care about price drops or a free game. Everything is cheaper if you want to wait for it to hit the sale rack.
