Anyone else excited?

Just checked the price. $26!!!! Pretty tempting but no. I must not!

Just started Witcher 2.

 

I was ambivalent until I watched play the opening. I may have to pick this up now.

 

I downloaded it since I never had a chance to play the original. I'll give it a go in the next couple of days.

 

I'm just about to go online and try it out myself

 

I started back in the day with RE2, so I never really got to experience it. Sadly as much as I would like to do so, I worry that the dated title will make it less fun for me. Not to mention the price...

 

One of the best games ever made ever. It drips with atmosphere. It's easily as good, if not better than RE2.

What a couple of weeks! Resident Evil Remake on Xbox One and next week Grim Fandango on PC. Two of my all time faves!!! Woohoo!

 

Cant believe how well it stands up still I had just finished evil within and this game is still just as gripping as it was in 2001 this in what a classic game should be like the star wars movie it stands the test of time

 

So how's everyone going? I've only heard awesome things!

I also checked some of those achievements and they're going to be fun! I'm sure I'll discover something I never knew before by attempting them.

I just noticed there's two challenges with artwork of Chris and Jill for the rewards.... I'll have to start playing this much earlier than intended now.... $26 dollars though, not too bad at all.

 

I'm loving it playing through as jill now and this weekend going to try and do a speed run with no saves

 

The original and RE2 were great games. That was a time in the past when RE actually had a story and occasional scary moments which were actually quite effective. This one is the moment I'll never forget. lol at how ancient this looks.

 

If I didn't still have the NGC remake, the Wii/Wii U remake, the Sega Saturn and 3ds version, I'd be excited. For younger gamers, this is good news though.

 

MIGHT try it, but than again I been burnt on several purchases, outlast! Alien Isolation, even GTA V was a bit of a disappointment, but I really liked Resident Evil on the Ps2 so I might give it a try.

 

Where do you guys see it as $26? I'm seeing it for $20...

I have it downloading now, I couldn't really say no at that price. I'm going to finish my play through of Styx and then get into it.

 

Excuse the double post, but is anyone still excited enough that they're still playing?

I just finished the hard mode with Chris today and it's been so long I didn't remember the differences. I recommend playing as Jill on the harder playthroughs. I regretted going in as Chris, though pushed through.

Also If any of you guys are keen on those challenges (Jill's artwork is pretty awesome) I noticed that killing an enemy with a flash grenade also counts as a headshot, so two challenges for one! I'd only gotten a handful of flash kills by the end of my hard
play through so thought it be best to grind them out. You can get a flash really early in the game and just quit and reload after sticking it in the zombies mouth.
