I don't think a forum has ever convinced me to buy a game unless it is to play with people from that forum. I discuss games but I don't really use a forum to tell me what game I need next. I buy less games at the moment because I've taken to spending all
of my money on books instead. :|

 

I wouldn't say excited but I am interested. RE was one of my favourite PS1 games but not sure I'll enjoy it as much this time around.

 

I might have been excited if it came on disc. Have today and tomorrow off, so I would've even gone to a midnight release.

I actually ended up getting it for free because I had Xbox Live Reward money in my account.

 

Rippen I am not necessarily one for remakes but the original RE just holds a special place in my survival horror fan heart.

 

i am, won't be able to play it at midnight, but i'm very happy to throw it on my pile of backlogged games.

 

I can honestly say the original Resident Evil is the only game that ever scared/shocked me. I remember very early in the game walking into a room with a couple corpses, looking around, then BAM! One of the corpses grabbed my leg. Game had me on edge the
rest of the time. Lol.

lol, when i was playing RE1, i was working at a hotel doing security on the graveyard shift, 22 floors, top 2 floors were under construction for remodeling, large pond with lots of trees and little light, it was a terrible place to be after playing RE1.

 

Absolutely..Whether it be a remake or a new game that's another game i can play on my Xbox One. I have always liked the Resident Evil games especially the earlier ones so this is a nice bonus which will be weird playing with the new controls as i'm used
to the crazy controls of the originals.

 

Agree it was a great game when i played it on my PS1 but Halo has been the only remake to excite me, and even though that has been fun so far i still find myself wanting to put more time into newer released games.

 

I would be excited if I didn't have so much to play, haha.

I think I need to do a little catching up before I purchase anymore games. We'll see though, I'll check the price as I've also got some rewards credit.

 

@Rippen..Totally understandable bud. I'm happy just to get games as that was one of my fears recently coming from the 360 to One but i totally understand where your coming from.

@DA..lol the catching up is the fun part as long as we don't over drown ourselves. I still have quite a few One games to play as well but can't get myself off of Forza 5, Ryse and Shadow Warrior.

 

I'm excited one of my all time favourite games trying my best not to play it need to go bed but off tomorrow. Can't wait to scare my misses with the dgs through the window she has never played it hehe
