I don't think a forum has ever convinced me to buy a game unless it is to play with people from that forum. I discuss games but I don't really use a forum to tell me what game I need next. I buy less games at the moment because I've taken to spending all
of my money on books instead. :|

 

The only good argument this guy has going is the mic shipped/bought with console. It is a bad design and is not very sturdy or reliable.

I still think him and his friend need to look into frequency interference among their homes. Thats what i suspect for their chat quality issues.

 

Agree on:

1. Controller is.trash and I have baseball player hands.

2. Mic does cut.in and out every once in a blu but I blame the mashing of sound via controller was rushed and it shows.

I feel for and hope.you can be patient and look for some simple fixes, ie; Kontrol freeks as I have.

 

This is a thread from Turtle Beach themselves. And to me it sounds a lot like the issues you are experiencing. Which in turn is a frequency issue. Hope it helps at least with
your TB headset.

 

the controller is fine but the sound quality of the x1 is seriously slacking...i still get a pop/crackle and if the april update doesnt fix this im rma'ing my console...he's right on the static through the crappy headset adapter aswell...it does sound like
there is a short in it..it cuts out left and right in titanfall and this was through three different headsets. The X1 has serious audio issues all because they want to try to reinvent their audio and make a proprietary system everyone has to reprogram for...there
was nothing wrong with the setup from last time...if anything digital optical switches/controllers/amplifiers and get wireless through that.

I can unplug and plug my 3.5mm plug into the female socket on the audio adapter and hear a static noise like a short...and that was through 3 of them like i've said before. Its the chat audio adapters...they are faulty (probably because of cheaply made)
yet they are overpriced.

 

I do not have a chat adapter so i can not comment on them, i really hope OP takes the time to read help article i posted to him. Even though he wont admit it especially after that go at xbox design, but i bet once gone over and tested it fix's the problem
for him.

had this issue when living in a more populated household where everyone and everything in the household was for convenience wireless. It was always disturbing my gaming experience. Even with connectivity to internet through router.

 

I like the new controller more than 360's and wouldn't say I have small hands. Bought a new headset and returning it because I need voice feedback so I went with Steelseries H wireless. I think the Xbox One is awesome and it's only getting better. I've had
different issues but nothing that would turn me away. I'm also a loyal fan. I've owned every Xbox version, MS surface 1 and 2. I even have a windows Phone. Stick with MS they know what they are doing and the Xbox will only improve with time.

 

I like the new controller, but my hands aren't large I mean it's on par with the ds4. However I think they are going backwards - forced Kinect that's got a high failure rate and a big turn-off for most hardcore gamers, inferior internal hardware to what's
out there, and the inclusion of a tv-in that should also have been an add-on instead of something they force on us so they can gimp their gpu.

So I guess what I'm saying is I'm in agreement with you on most things.

And i do not see how it turns away hardcore gamers? I put like 3000 hours on xboxlive last year. I would consider that hardcore! And i like the kinect.

P.s xbox 360 kinect is lost to time as it is buried in storage shed. Because i did not like it.

 

Never said the system sucks at all in any of the stuff I wrote. Controller is bunk. Is a better fit than the 360 will agree but the PS4 has them beat in the controller department. Microsoft is simply not listening or being honest to the consumers. They even
issued an article saying just that. They tried to hard to force things that they think would work and it is backfiring on them. Also like I said the system itself is amazing its just the crap on the outside that is horrible (controller mic adapter headset).
Don't get me wrong I was all over this console when it came out because of x-box live and what the 360 turned into rather than what it started out to be. Like I said don't get me wrong I'm not bashing or fan boying anything these are just my opinions on some
things that I think microsoft went backwards on. I have a PS4 (because a real gamer doesn't own ONE system) and I only use it for the exclusives. I play all the big cross-gen games on the X-Box because I've always loved X-Box live. As for this "I still think

a decade i'm well aware and have dealt with the internet issues that accompany the x-box. Also I don't use my turtle beach or the adapter anymore because the sound quality wasn't worth it.

 

Aren't headsets universally stereo (at least technically speaking)? You've got 2 ears & with a headset, 2 speakers that cover or go into your ears. Even if you have a high-end headset with multiple speakers on each ear-piece to simulate audio direction,
it's not truly behind you or in front of you, etc. like a real sound system would be.

I still love the New controller over the 360 one which was great, this is better and still better than DS4 even though an improvement on their last.
