Anyone disappointed the World Cup Game will not be on Xbox One?

I normally always buy these games. The gameplay is usually more polished than the Fifa that has been out and I love being able to qualify for the world cup and playing the KO stages online. Plus since Ireland aint in it I like qualifying and winning the
world cup with them

Harry Potter "Quidditch World Cup"

I notice that Quidditch World Cup is not on xbox's list of backwards compatible games. I would really like to play it on my xbox 360 and I think it's ridiculous that they excluded some games from the list. I would like to petition to add Quidditch World
Cup to the list of playable xbox games.

 

I can't say I'm disappointed as I'm not a football fan but I am surprised. Supposedly it's because the adoption rate of next gen consoles is too low, particularly in Brazil where the cup is hosted. Perhaps if they hadn't bumped the cost to over $1000 this
wouldn't be a problem.

 

I guess looking at it from a perspective like that it would make sense. We all know that the Xbox's main consumer base is the US where footy is still not that popular (although it is has grown in recent years). The sales probably would not be there as it
will it never will sell like the normal Fifa game. I might pick it up for the 360 but the 360 version of Fifa this year was poor. I am disappointed . The price tag of the both next gen consoles in Brazil is a disgrace.

 

You cant blame the price of the console on MS or Sony, you have to blame Brazil's gov't for an outrageously high import tax.

But no I am not concerned at all about no World Cup games. It does suck for the football fans though. Maybe in 4 years?

 

I've never bought one because every other fifa has had custom tournaments, which is what me and my buddies did when we got together for a few drinks, but they didn't add this to the supposed next gen versions which has me baffled, me and my mates are gutted.

 

Yep I agree that it's not Ms or Sony's fault. It is a shame that they have to pay so much for the two consoles. I don't think it's Brazil's fault for no game either. Football is the biggest sport in Europe so most of the sales would have came from here.
They probably did't think enough would be sold. Ha 4 years maybe.......

I know what you mean no tournaments suck. I went and bought a controller a few weeks ago so my mates could come up have a few drinks and play fifa. We went to play on UT with each other and they took out the guest option. What a joke.
